BoxingAfrica.com caught up with Isaac “Royal Storm” Dogboe at Saturday’s press conference in Accra ahead of his May 11 rematch versus Emmanuel Navarrete.
The 22-year-old Navarrete (26-1, 22 KOs), the WBO world super bantamweight champion, won his title by wresting it away from Dogboe via unanimous decision last December. But Dogboe is on a mission to regain his title when they meet three weeks from now at Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona.
Dogboe, 24, 20-1 (14 KOs), met with members of the Ghana boxing media last Saturday as he winds down training in his home country. He is expected to leave for the U.S. on May 3rd. After Saturday’s press conference, Dogboe spoke to Prince Dornu-Leiku during this exclusive one-on-one. Check out what the ultra-confident “Royal Storm” had to say!
