Former IBO lightweight champion Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe will return to the ring on August 11th, according to reports from Ghanacrusader.com.
No opponent has been named for this bout, which will occur in Finland.
Tagoe was recently stripped of his IBO belt when he failed to meet mandatory challenger Fedor Papazov in the time allotted by the sanctioning body. He made one defense of that title, a 10th -round TKO of Argentina’s Fernando Saucedo, prior to losing the belt.
