Two undefeated champions in their prime will face off when WBC World Super Bantamweight Champion Brandon Figueroa and WBO counterpart Stephen Fulton Jr. throw down Saturday night in a 122-pound world title unification expected to be a Fight of the Year candidate.
The highly-anticipated bout will take place at Park MGM in Las Vegas, live on SHOWTIME Championship Boxing in a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) presentation.
Both fighters looked to be in fantastic condition at Friday’s weigh-in, each coming in at 121.75 pounds.
In the co-feature, undefeated super bantamweight Ra’eese Aleem, the man many consider the darkhorse of the division, will look to further cement his status as a top contender when he faces Mexico’s Eduardo Báez in a 10-round duel. The televised action opens up with unbeaten rising bantamweight contender Gary Antonio Russell taking on Mexico’s Alejandro Barrios in a 10-round showdown.
