Streetwise Management founder Michael-Amoo-Bediako, joined his fighter, IBF World Lightweight Champion Richard Commey, as they met with the Ghanaian press Friday afternoon.

 

BoxingAfrica.com spoke to Amoo-Bediako afterward to discuss Commey’s win over Ray Beltran in his first title defense and the state of Ghana boxing, which–along with Commey’s success–inspired him to create Streetwise Foundation.

Amoo-Bediako also revealed further details on Commey’s anticipated showdown versus the undefeated Teofimo Lopez. And finally, the boxing manager announced that undefeated Ghanaian bantamweight Duke Micah will be joining Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions (PBC). Micah’s first bout under the PBC banner is expected to take place in August or September. The move has major implications as PBC, a televised boxing series, is the most watched boxing show in the US.
