Joshua was spotted in Lagos, where he’s been mobbed everywhere. He also visited Makoko, a famed Lagos slum and went to the National Stadium in Surulele. Though he was born, raised and currently resides in the UK, he’s never strayed from his African roots.
Joshua, 29, 22-1, (21 KOs), is taking time to himself following his June 1 stunning upset loss to Andy Ruiz Jr, where Joshua was stopped in seven rounds, losing his world titles and his undefeated record.
Despite the loss, Joshua remains a man of the people, as this visit shows. Check out the video and photos!

Anthony Joshua in Makoko.
Someone said "Did he go there alone? What if they robbed him, he should have gone with bodyguards?".
I told him "you must be a learner". Anthony Joshua himself is 2 in 1. He is both the bodyguard and the "body to guard". ?? #Nigeria pic.twitter.com/FbCfzf22Vp
