Ghana bantamweight Albert Commey is set to embark on a training tour to the United States of America, beginning December 10.
As part of the tour, Commey and his management team will visit Maryland, New York (including the Bronx and Brooklyn), and several other states.
The boxer is expected to travel with his manager, Prince Tweneboah, and trainer, Wahidu Mohammed. They will accompany him throughout the six-week stay for a professional boxing training session at Honey Comb Boxing Inc., which is based in Maryland.
In a letter seen by Ghanadatabase.com, Lamont Farmer, a US-based trainer who will be part of Commey’s tour, will represent Honey Comb Boxing Inc. All expenses pertaining to this trip, including accommodation, travel and other related expenditures—and expenses related to training—will be covered by Honey Comb Boxing Inc.
According to Tweneboah, Commey is preparing for a bantamweight title fight, which will be arranged by his camp after the training tour is completed
