Zambia’s boxing sensation and African Boxing Union (ABU) Flyweight Champion Alfred Muwowo has been given a chance to fight a South African boxer Jackson Chauke for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) international Belt.
Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions Manager, Christopher Malunga has disclosed that the championship bout will take place in South Africa on December 7, 2018 at the Carnival City Hotel in Sandton Johannesburg.
Malunga says the championship opportunity is golden for Alfred to be an international champion and represent Zambia at WBC level.
He said OQBP will endeavor to ensure boxers under its stables who are committed and disciplined are given equal opportunities to excel in their career.
Malunga confirmed that Reel Steel Promotions will promote the bout and that both the Zambian and South African camps have agreed the conditions of the championship bout.
