Ruiz and Ortiz, two of the world’s best big men, will face off in a high stakes WBC Heavyweight Title Eliminator.
Ruiz, 32, 34-2 (22 KOs), weighed in at 268 ¾ pounds, while the 43-year-old Ortiz (33-2, 28 KOs) came in at 245.5 pounds.
