The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has congratulated former world lightweight champion Richard Commey on his six-round destruction of Jackson Marinez Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Fighting for the first time in 14 months, Ghana’s Commey (30-3, 27 KOs) walked through Marinez, dropping him twice in the sixth to earn the victory and place him back in contention for another title at 135-pounds.
In an official statement, GBA Secretary-General Patrick Johnson writes to Commey:
