Lightweight contender Emmanuel “Gameboy” Tagoe will take on America’s Mason Menard Saturday, November 27, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
Ghana’s Tagoe (31-1, 15 KOs) has been training in Miami as he prepares for a world title shot, which will be in his grasp if he wins.
“Game Boy” is ranked the world’s ninth-best active lightweight by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board. He was originally slated to fight Denis Berinchyk of Ukraine in a final eliminator but now faces Menard in his first fight in the US since 2013.
Menard (36-4, 25 KOs) on the other made his last debut in the ring against Travis Hartman in August 2019 where he recorded an impressive unanimous decision win.
