It’s fight night! Both Philippine Senator and boxing icon Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao and undefeated WBA Super World Welterweight Champion Keith “One Time” Thurman looked ready for war at Friday’s weigh-in at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Over 4,000 people showed up to watch Pacquiao and Thurman each weigh in at 146.5-pounds. The bout, perhaps the biggest boxing event of the year, headlines a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on FOX Sports PPV.
“I’m ready. This is my time,” Thurman, 30, (29-0, 22 KOs) declared. “It’s grind time and it’s show time. I’m planning on giving fans an incredible fight – one to be remembered.”
“Tomorrow night, class is in session,” Pacquiao, 40, (61-7-2, 39 KOs) retorted. “I hope Keith Thurman studied hard, because Professor Pacquiao gives very hard tests.”
