International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee and Africa boxing legend Azumah Nelson will be cheering for fellow Ghanaian Richard Commey as he defends his IBF world lightweight title versus Ray Beltran tonight at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California.

 

Commey-Beltran, which headlines a Top Rank show on ESPN, is expected to be an all-action Fight of the Year candidate. Nelson, who is no stranger to the bright lights, had this message for Commey ahead of his big night:

 

 

Commey is currently the only world champion from Ghana. Former champions such as Nelson, Joshua Clottey and Joseph Agbeko have all joined together in support of their kinsman.
