Stephen Fulton Jr. of Philadelphia, PA easily outpointed Namibia’s Paulus Ambunda, shutting the veteran out over 12 rounds (120-107).
Fulton also captures a minor world title, the IBO Super Bantamweight title belt. The American was simply too quick and too active for Ambunda as he peppered him with quick jabs and right hooks. Fulton dropped Ambunda with a right hook in the ninth round. The Namibian lasted the full distance but took a beating for it.
Fulton remains undefeated at 16-0 (7 KOs) while Ambunda’s record drops to 27-3 (11 KO’s).
