Undefeated bantamweight Duke Micah is in line for a world title shot. Ghana’s Micah is now ranked number one in the WBO bantamweight rankings.
That title is currently held by South Africa’s Zolani Tete. Tete is currently participating in the World Boxing Super Series tournament. He returns to the ring Saturday, October 13th, versus Mikhail Aloyan, his first-round opponent.
Micah, 22-0 (18 KOs), was previously ranked third by the WBO. The WBC International bantamweight champion hasn’t fought since June, when he eked by Thomas Snow via split decision.
