Dedicated father and son trainers Jose “Chepo” and Eddy Reynoso are meticulously preparing Saul “Canelo” Alvarez to deliver a radically different rematch fight against reigning WBC, WBA, IBO middleweight Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin.
On September 15th, the millions of eyes of the boxing world will be focused squarely on Canelo (49-1-2, 34 KOs) and Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 knockouts), who are repeating the dose at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The dynamic duo of Eddy and Chepo are absolutely convinced and totally determined that this fight will be totally different scenario.
Both have loyally been in Canelo`s corner since he was a child. Far more than a day to day work relationship, the three have a established great trio bond of friendship that has formed them into a close knit team.
Chepo says: “It`s an honor for us to be part of such an important boxing event. To start with Saul as a boy, taking up pro boxing aged just thirteen, and now he`s fighting in Las Vegas, on such an important date is wonderful. It`s tremendous to participate in such an important fight, and we are going to show the results of all this hard work on September 15!
“After the first fight, I analyzed many things. “Canelo” showed a excellent leg movement, he made Golovkin miss a lot and he learned how to neutralize his opponent. Now this time… the rematch will be different.”
Eddy has no doubt that Saul will triumph on September 15th saying: “This a pride for me. It`s going to be a great night for all Mexicans, and that’s why we’ve been working so very hard with Canelo. He’s going to use all of his diverse resources and many skills to win a very big fight, defeating Golovkin. We are confident that we will remove Golovkin’s undefeated record, as well his world title. We always have victory on and in our minds.”
