Floyd “Money” Mayweather isn’t just the highest-paid athlete in the world. According to Forbes magazine, the undefeated, former five-division world champion is also the highest-paid celebrity in the world for 2017.

 

Mayweather, (50-0, 27 KOs), came in far ahead of actor George Clooney, who finished second in this annual list of rich celebs. Floyd’s pre-tax total for the past year was a whopping $285 million dollars, nearly $50 million more than Clooney, who earned a meager $239 million.

 

Nearly all of Mayweather’s earnings were made in a half-hour of work, when he stopped MMA great Conor McGregor in the tenth round of their showdown last August at the MGM’s T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Coming in this third was television star Kylie Jenner, who made an estimated $166.5 million.
