Deontay Wilder has been doing a lot of talking, but his latest verbal assault may have topped them all.
The WBC world heavyweight champion dropped several bombs Thursday afternoon at the final press conference for the Wilder-Luis Ortiz bout, set to take place tomorrow night at Brooklyn, New York’s Barclay Center.
“Eddie Hearn is just another white man milking the black man,” Wilder said regarding the Matchroom promoter’s recent statement that Wilder is “living in a fantasy world.”
Hearn promotes WBA/IBF world heavyweight champion—and Wilder archrival—Anthony Joshua. The heavyweight unification bout is arguably the biggest fight that can be made in the sport today.
