Johannesburg – South African pugilists Rofhiwa Maemu and Ayanda Nkosi will feature on the six-bout Africa Boxing Bill in Mbabane, Swaziland, on Friday evening.
Maemu will trade leather with Tanzanian Haidari Mchanjo for the WBA Pan African featherweight diadem over 12 rounds, and Nkosi will fight for his WBA Pan African lightweight belt against Kenyan contender Michael Odhiambo over the same number of rounds.
The bill is dominated by Mzansi fighters, with seven – Maemu, Nkosi, Hloni Maboko, Anthony Moloisane, Sikho Nqothole, Lemohang Mapitsi and Vusumuzi Nyawuza – of the 12 gladiators.
Other boxers featured on the bill are Mchanjo, Odhiambo, Kulwano Ogaketse (Botswana), Steven Bagwasi (Botswana) and Tshepang Babui (Botswana).
This will be the fifth edition of Fox Sports’ Africa Boxing series and will be hosted by the Royal Swazi Spa. It will be broadcast across 22 African countries and distributed to more than 2 million Fox Sports subscribers across the continent.

Boxing SA co-sanctioned the two title fights involving Maemu and Nkosi.
