The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has set up the Isaac Aryee Fund, a fund to solicit financial support for former national champion Isaac Aryee. Aryee was involved in a near-fatal vehicle accident on May 3rd, when his motorcycle was hit by a Mamprobi police car.
Although the Youth & Sports ministry was able to foot Aryee’s 14,000GHC bill to undergo surgery, other medical expenses continue to pile up as he remains in Accra’s Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
The Isaac Aryee Fund is open to donations from all. Please direct donations to Patrick Johnson, General Secretary of the GBA, and Naa Darkua Dodoo, the Authority’s Public Relations Officer.
